Removing the dash...

This seems like a pain in the ***.
Who all has done this?
How hard was it?
How good is this walk through?
How long did it take?
thanks

Meh, I did it over last winter.
It does suck, but if you're patient it's really not that bad.
If you get frustrated just take a break, cool off and go back at it.
TAKE YOUR TIME!!! Don't get pissed and break stuff, the plastic can be brittle. I'd recommend taking the steering wheel off, I got it out with it on but it would of been easier with it off. I ended up taking it off, putting the dash back in, then installing an aftermarket wheel.
Make sure you're thorough with getting all the little 7mm bolts, don't yank the dash out while some are still attached, you'll know when you get them all.
Good luck!

Yea, I'm dreading doin mine cause just getting the cut harness out of the donor was a bitch. Cant imagine tryin to get the stock harness loose from the backside with the dash in the car where you cant get full access like I had with the donor. Its gonna be a pain & I forsee many cuts on my hands too, lol.

I thought about that too but after talking to a friend that owns a shop its gonna cost way too much in labor to make it worth it. I'm just waiting for this fall when its cooler outside & I start driving my truck again, then I'll pull it & can take my time if need be.
