Default CTS-V Brakes and fender well detail.

Just put on the new brakes today. GM finally got them back in stock. While I was under there I decided to clean up too. I used brake parts cleaner to get the grime off. Then I waxed the paint, painted the spindle, and reconditioned the fender wells. I don't think it looks too shabby for a 13 year old car with 97xxx miles.

Now I'm just debating on which wheels to get since my m-sports don't clear.
polished oem c6 z06 or grey spyders from 6litereater??? im leaning towards the later. I believe the 40mm offset will clear. anybody know for sure?

Thanks

The lift definitely makes detailing those areas a lot easier. Nice work.

Looks good. What is the going rate for ctsv calipers now? They seem to fluctuate in price

I would go with Spyders. 6LE is having their July 4th 20% off sale at the moment...

Looks good though man. I would love to do this someday

They were 186 and 189. that was wholesale at my local dealer. Should be able to get that price or better from sd parts. Thanks for the complements.

The lift is def a big help. we got lucky. My dad ran into a guy needing the space. 300 bucks and a 75 dollar seal kit to make it stop leaking.

What was involved in the front install? Do they just bolt up? What rotors work now?

Would the spiders clear without a spacer? if so I'd et those rather than the played out polished C6 wheels.
