Exclamation 6LE Hardtop Pre-Orders!

Guys, IF MORE PEOPLE DO NOT PRE-ORDER THE 6LE HARDTOP PANELS, THEY WILL NOT BE MADE (according to 6LE himself!). Right now there are only 2 confirmed pre-orders for each style (FG and CF) and they need 6 more (each) to get these into production! Spread the word guys! I need a fix for my bubbling roof panel!! The GM ones aren't made any more and 6LE is pretty much my last hope for a non-bubbled roof! lol. I wanted a carbon fiber one but when he told me it's looking like he won't make them due to lack of demand my heart sank. If you want one, PLACE A PRE-ORDER!!

This is correct. It was such a low response I wasn't even going to bother posting. If we don't have interest (which = paid orders) by end of the month these are gone.

UNFORTUNATELY, we need FULLY paid orders, this thing has turned into the most expensive part we've tried to produce...

Sail panels are safe, right? Here to stay? Because I'll need one next year, my 99 is starting to bubble up a bit.

Will this piece be full carbon or a couple layers of carbon with fiberglass backing? Could a full carbon one be made? For 1400 if it's not full carbon I wouldn't mind a couple/few hundred more for full carbon that would come with wieght saving s.

It's either full fiberglass or full carbon. No mix-match. As it stands right now I don't think there are any official pre-orders for carbon, but there are one or two for fiberglass. I really wanted the carbon one but nobody else has stepped up so far.

I'm trying as hard as I can to scrape the money together for a carbon hardtop!
Is it going to be 10pre orders including both carbon & fiberglass?
