Default Sun Visor fell off!

I tried to do a search for a fix on this issue with no luck, My driver side visor fell of a while ago and now looks like my passenger side it ready to go. Damn heat! Ive gone to junk yards looking to replace but they are in worst shape than mine. Anyone have a fix for this issue? The rod that goes screwed into the mount broke off.

I disagree. I find them very useful and use them almost every day. Then again, I drive my Formula every day (even in winter).

Mine have not yet failed either. They still work well and I like them better than other/newer cars that have that extra support tab which is almost always too stiff.

I had this happen to me last week and on the weekend I pulled the black retainer piece noticed that hte spring and washer was till there, I used a small screw big enough to grab the washer and it was fixed.

no problems so far.

I would do what Bob said if you don't use them really.

Great weight reduction!

No, really I liked the look of mine without them, at least the driver's being good, with the T-tops off it just looks so much better with no visor.

My SS sunvisors are ok, except the mirrors broke on drivers side...but my Z28 visor fabric is all dry rotted because my wife, the genius she is...refused to put the sunshades in and the sun destroyed the fabric; I have the shades in my SS and guess what no problems at all!
