Default has anyone painted their pulley's?

I was wondering if any of you guys have possibly tried painting your pulley's? I know it sounds really corny but I am trying to go with a red/chrome theme in my engine bay. Just to make it look a little more presentable then the stock look I have going on now. I think having red pulley's would look sick in my engine bay. If I used hi temp paint and painted the pulleys do you think the paint would stick or am I better of sending them out and getting them anodized?

Actual red paint would look goofy. Anodized Red is a different story.

I painted mine black.

Personally I'm not a fan of drawing attention to unimportant things. You want to draw attention to the engine, not the accessories.

Ahem.....

OP...have to agree (to a point) drawing unnecessary attention to the unimportant things is not a good look; colored loom for instance. In your case, stick with black.

dont pay to annodize a part that you are going to have to replace alot in its lifetime (the idler pullies are known for going bad) if you really want them to look good (other then the stock black that they come) get custom pullies. and if you did paint them, the paint would wear off where the belt touches
