Default New style LED front turn signals...

EDIT!! Since photobucket wants to rip us off to post photos, I've added the link to my library so you can go direct to the source!

http://s187.photobucket.com/user/bigmf6602/library/

As some of yall know, I had created my first set of front turn signals a few years ago (link here https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...very-easy.html ) and my custom tail lights (https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...il-lights.html)... and I had hinted on making the new ones there. Well now that Im done moving for a while, I sat down last night and knocked out the little bit I had left to finish and got the lights on the car! I must say, I should have done these a while ago, because they look just plain awesome. With my old style, they were tinted and it was hard to see the signals during the day time. With these, it is quite the contrary...

Here is the old pics from last night....
and a video in action....

and the new set up...

and the new video...

if you reference the other link you can see what the old style was in the day time...

if you look at my original build thread, I have the break down of how to build them up, but instead of the other LED bars, I used these ones instead and painted them black and did not do the night shade on the lens...

Did you solder the bars together yourself or can you buy them together like that? Also, what did you do to heat up the housing to take the lens off? I know you can heat up the OEM headlight housing pretty good but I'm worrid about my ebay turns.

Those things are bright as hell now. Look great man.

Looks really damn good man. Where did you purchase those strips from? I really like the color white they emit

I'm diggin' the new look!
Do you have any day pictures out in the sun? I used 5050 3-chip SMD strips for my set-up, which I believe to be the brightest strips available at the moment and they are a little too dim during day for my taste. I'm curious to see how your set-up looks in comparison.

ya I soldiered them together... they came in one long strip, cut it in half, then took one of the plugs off of the strip and used the prongs to soldier it to the other strip. I used the oven to take the lenses off the housing. I have the same cheap ebay junk, and they come off easy at 215*.

One question Frank...

Can you make me a set and how much? I am done with appearance but really would love a set of those... I would attempt the build myself but I am in Afghan and won't be home for a while... Would love them sitting in my garage though!!!
