Original U.S Exotics WS9 Outlaw hood....
As some of you know I have a original U.S Exotics WS9 Outlaw hood from way back then. I went through hell and back fixing what was a defective hood. I've been talking with Roger back and forth over the past month or so. Turns out he only made about 125 copies of that particular hood. Even better yet, he never sold the original molds to VFN as everyone thought, he just sent them a hood.
Needless to say, for all my trouble and him being a stand up guy, he offered to pull the mold out of storage and build me another hood free of charge. First one made in years!
So I'd like to get a ball park estimate on what one of these hoods with worth since I'll have no need for 2. Mine needs a repaint at the very least or I can use the new hood instead.

This hood was made with contaminated resin that caused excessive out-gassing of the fiberglass layer underneath the gel coat. It caused the gel coat to have millions of pencil tipped sized pin holes all over the top and bottom. I stripped the gel coat and ultimately ending up having to fill the holes one by one with high build primer multiple times and blocking the hood countless times. You aren't suppose to shoot paint directly over fiberglass as the finish usually doesn't come too good. I was lucky. Mine looked great for a while, but now I have a few defects as paint seals in the fiberglass and heat doesn't help either. I mean it still looks really good, but not PERFECT like the rest of my paint. I should be okay with re-blocking the hood and painting it again.
You're absolutely right. Their are NO fitment issues. I spent tons of time aligning everything. That wasn't really the problem though.
