Default Cut My Springs + Sunoco Stripes! Tons of pics

Cut my springs for the first time. I took a coil off the front, and 1.25 coils off the rear. Used a grinding wheel and 1/4" cut off wheel. Sometime down the road I'm probably gonna pick up some QA1's.

I need to have the front fender stripes re-cut for me, the angle is pretty off on the fenders.

Here's how the car sat before:

Here's the car now.

Thanks man. Are the front stripes angled up too far, or are the door stripes angled down?

Or a bit of both?

looks great man...

Few small things that I think youde fine would really clean up the rear some more..

Take your car to a exhaust shop, and have them weld the back end solid (remove the clamps and weld the bends to the muffler. Then tape off your tips and spray everything tips back to the muffler with vht flameproof satin black paint....

I did it on mine and it really cleans up the underside of the rear of the car. But Im **** like that. Oh and look into a bitviper antenna.

Car looks good. Did you notice a noticeable change in ride comfort?

That's a good idea. I was thinking of polishing all of the exhaust under there, but maybe I'll do that so it'll just blend in rather than pop out. I hate the flowmaster catback, the way the tips bend down annoy me. Wish I had magnaflow boomtubes.

Thanks man! I was going to get C5 Z06 or C5 deep dish wheels (black) but looking at a $900 shopping cart kinda turns you off lol. Eventually!

Thanks Bat. Actually, no! It rides a little harder, but that's it. I couldn't look at the car anymore with that fender gap. I'd like some QA1 fronts, and maybe bilstein rears, if not QA1's all around.

Lol where have you been? I came from my WS6, to a TA, to a Z28, to another TA, now this Z28!

I miss that WS6

Oh... and you guys might enjoy this.

LOL! After I rebuilt my WS6, I felt like I had NOTHING I could do to it anymore, so I got bored and I sold it. None of my cars ever compares to that thing.. ever.

If you hate how it looks, get some stainless 3.5" tips off fleebay (you can get a pair for around 65 i beleive), take them to a exhaust shop, have them have put on new 2.5" elbows into the tips, and then spray everything from the muffler to the tips, and you basically have yourself magnaflow boomtubes (I used to have them, but got tired of them since everyone runs magnaflow)

regardless great start

By elbows I assume you mean the outlet pipes coming from the muffler? Stupid Flowmaster, making them with a ridiculous angle. Thanks though dude.

LOL. It's a good thing I took that video, I had no idea my brake light was out. If you have any suggestions for the car, let me know! I think it needs a billet grille.. The SLP bowtie one would be wicked too, but they're like $260.

Thanks man! I don't allow my cars to be dirty.

I think I'm going to make a "build" thread for this car. I'm not necessarily rebuilding it, but I would like something to show & keep all the progress of the car.

If you are interested in any kind of ride comfort then you should stay away from drag shocks like QA1s...
