Default Who has painted their windshield washer reservoir?

I want to rattle can mine black to further clean up the engine bay, but I'm not sure if flat or semi-gloss would look better. I was leaning towards semi, since my engine bay has been repainted.

Anyone have pics of theirs? A silver engine bay would be best, since that's what I have. Thanks.

I painted mine, I think I used semi gloss, it really cleaned things up.

I did this with the washer and radiator reservoirs on my El Camino and it really makes the engine bay look better. Even the "white" plastic reservoirs on the newer cars look tacky. I used a semi gloss and left a little stripe so I can see what the fluid level is. I know its a different car but it really helps to make the car look a little cleaner. Plus if you don't like it all you have to do is use a little steel wool and it'll come right off.

Are you guys removing it before painting it? Seems like a PITA to paint it while it's in there to get good coverage.
