Arrow Black Strip Between T-Tops

Ive posted this before without a solution. The black strip between my T-Tops has turned to Rainbow... I know Armor-All & stuff like that can turn things like that rainbow, but i am very careful when washing the car. How can I restore this to black.... Ive tried wax, scratch remover, etc. I know its a small thing to be worried about but i am very picky when it comes to my car. Thanks guys!

Try using Mothers Back-To-Black. This is the type of thing that it was specifically made for

And I am guessing that this can be purchased @ the local Auto Zone? Or is it an online thing?

In my area (PA) you can pick it up at Pep Boys or Advanced Auto - I'm sure it's available at many other auto stores though

Its a local thing, but properautocare has a true black dye that will make it last. Back to Black (im my experience) doesnt last terribly long and attracts dust like holy hell.

Also, Back to Black streaks really bad. I have used it on the bumpers of my truck and it runs down onto the chrome. I would try soemthing else. Like the dye that is on properautocare.com. Back to Black, like mentioned before, does not last that long.

following on lastSS's post, if you do use back to black (hoping you dont) dry buff it afterwards and be careful around the seams and edges, thats where you will get runs from.

its actually water spots and the rainbow is the mineral deposits, I had the same problem on my hawk and firebird

grab your blue dawn squirt it onto the bar, grab a clean clay bar and start working it. I spent about 15 to 30 min for 3 to 4 days to get it to cleaned up.

a little polishing compound(perfect 2 or 3,by 3M),and a little hand rubbing will work the best, followed by a good cleaning, then an application of wax(compound found at your local paint supply stores)((Mattos,FinishMaster<etc.))
