Default Fun with plastidip

Got a few cans to paint to try on my hood this weekend. Tried a little expiriment. My steering wheel control are useless due to my aftermarket deck. So I pulled the control fuse to un light them . Popped both out and sprayed a bit of plastidip. 3rd coat got what I wanted,a textured finish that matches the steering wheel leather. I was going to paint them, but I may use the controls at a later date.

Neat. A PAC-SWI would've been a more logical decision though, lol.
Looks good I must admit.

I was cheap when I got my deck. Plus it has a remote. Like I said eventually I will upgrade to a high end deck ,maybe next year.

Good luck keeping that on there. Every time your finger touches it you run the risk of smudging it or wrinkling it. It will come off over time.

You are also not supposed to apply regular clear coat to it. Did you use the plasti dip glossifier stuff?
