Question !wire mod (no cut) question

After searching and reading threads about the passenger !wire mod, I have a few questions. I was planning to buy the Weatherpack and/or Metri-Pack terminal tools to disassemble the connectors. One was a hollow tube-looking device with a screwdriver handle and the other looked like a thin, long blade, also with a screwdriver handle. Are these the only tools I need to disassemble/reassemble the connectors? If I go this route, do I still need to extend the wiring harnesses or is there already enough wire? Any suggestions, tips, part numbers, advice, etc. would be appreciated!

No, you will not have to extend the wiring harness. I did the no cut method, but I just elongated the hole enough to fit the connector through.

Where are you getting the tools to remove the pins?

I was referring to Lawman's first post since he's gonna buy the tools.

Thanks for the replies...I am glad that I don't have to extend the wires...I'm also hoping that I only need these two inexpensive tools!
