Help me decide on corner lights for my SS.
Hey guys I have a black 99 SS that I'm trying to decide on which corner lights to get. Car is stock appearance wise aside from TT2's and Corsa Clones. I do know that I will be using the Depo headlights and a set of blacked out LT1 tail lights. Which of these two sets of corner lights do you think would look better and post any pictures you guys have if you're running either of these. Thanks guys.

I had experience with both; here's what you can expect with each set:
The smoked lights will offer nicer, richer light output, especially if you're using LEDs. This is because the inside of the housings have chrome surfaces which allows the light to reflect nicely, maintaining great luminosity.
The black housings will give you much dimmer, duller light in comparison, as the inside portions of all of all components are gloss black. Because they don't have a chrome reflector, your front turn signal housings will readily absorb heat and quickly melt if you use incandescent bulbs. This will then cause your incandescent bulb to either fail, explode, and/or become "hot glued" to the melted plastic surrounding them.
LEDs will allow you to avoid the melting problem in your front markers, but again, the lack of a reflector will make them appear dimmer.
