Default detailed 350z..

im detailing my buddies 350z here is a couple pics, really nice car.. only has 12k miles on it, didnt need much... ill get better pics tonight when i finish it.

clean, but those cars just look like they belong to 40+ yr old divorced women....... just saying

lol true, actually detailing it bc we are going in the morning to check out trading it for a 06 gto.. im trying to convert him to a real car!!

That paint was in terrible condition. You really cleaned her up. Just need to buy a better camera

it was only that bad in that one spot.. not sure why.. yea tell me about it.. i would love to and run this one over about a dozen times... its a p.o.s. nikon coolpix sucks ***

Autofocus is your enemy.... The sensor will pick an object to focus on that is in a reflection, so you don't see the surface in perfect focus.

Many people do this on the detail forums (some on purpose) to make it look like a full correction, when they really didn't get everything. Not saying you are doing that, but some do.

Here's a tip to make that camera work a little better for you. If you're taking a pic of lets say the fender/hood....get the camera to focus on the panel gap. It gives the sensor an "edge" to "grab" onto and focus properly. Practice that whenever you take a pic. Give the sensor something to grab onto....a wiper blade, an emblem, a mirror edge, etc... Your pics will be way better.

Btw, that thing was thrashed before. Nice turnaround.

thanks for the tips.. and yes it was messed up.. and yes what u see in pics is how it looks in person.. not trying to play any games.. your threads are whats responsible for me getting into this stuff... have learned alot and learning more.. i love detailing wish i could do it for a living and make the same money as i do wrenching..

Its cool thanks for the input ill play around with it and see... it has different setting on it i just had it set on close up pics for most of those... but ill use ur advice and mess around for a while and see if i can get better
