'69 front nose stripe on 4th Gen... Havent ever seen this old 1969 fender front stripe on 4th Gen yet??? Anyone? I painted it yesterday with a low sheen finish. Gonna wet sand it lightly, machine, then buff out. Sorry bad pics...garage door stopped working this morning...

Sorry lighting is really bad, but I did take it out today and got a better look at it overall during the day and "Im" very happy with it and really wasnt looking for opinions to be honest. I like this look, thats why I used paint instead of stickers that fad. Besides, the all black looked got tooo boring for me and just wanted something other than a hood stripes, hockey stripes, fender stripes and any other thing thats been done here already. Really just wanted to know if anyone else followed this older 69 stripe set-up.

Don't listen to the haters...I think its cool and different. Fits just as well as the sometimes awkward hockey stripe on 4th gens. Its a little too late, but my only suggestion would have been to have the stripe a bit further down on the hood/fender, so it would line up with the headlight "line" in the hood. When I restored my '69 that was a plain jane car originally, I had looked at this stripe set for it. I'm trying to recall the code for it...DX-1 maybe?
