Is there a way to open this tail lamp to refurbish it?

^yeah.. For like 4-600 for the set lol. These things are unnessecarily expensive. My drivers side lamp gets flooded when it rains and has lost most if the reflector inside. Would buy new ones, but I'm not spending that much for a light. just gonna end up opening mine for some cleaning/ re-painting/ re-sealing

Id first try cleaning them out - may just be condensation. Try pouring in a 50/50 mix of water and alcohol - a half cup should suffice. Slosh around, pour out, and let them sit in the sun a while. If that takes care of the condensation, then moisture is getting in somehow.

That's definitely moisture getting in there. I would bet money the top of the lamp is separating and letting water in when it rains or you wash it. Just a small bead of clear RTV silicone will solve it. Had the same thing happen to the camaro, I couldn't even see it. Take it off, dry it out as best as you can with a paper towel and pencil or kitchen towel. Then take a hair dryer and finish it off. It's probably separating from the area I drew a circle around, that's also where you should apply a bead of silicone.

I will in the end have to buy new ones because they look dull when you hit the brake lights but I have helped them out just by drilling out little holes on the bottom of them.

Take and do like I did Crimson, I took and on my Camaro lights, I took and drilled small holes in the bottom on the lights themselves to let any water out that would get in there and now that I've done this, I haven't had to replace as many bulbs due to the moisture.
I also did this with a much smaller bit to the headlight of a fox body. I just went through the lens on that, because I didnt care enough to pull out the housing.
