Default Painted Fast intake

I just had my Fast intake painted/airbrushed, just wanted to get some opinions I,m kinda on the fence about it. I think it needs more smoke

Thanks,I just kinda thought it needed something. I,ll probably like it better when I get the fuel rails on and the rest of the motor together.

What's the deal with the lower air box pic? The flames look like they have a chunk missing because of tape or something

I've always wondered what real flames would look like on pewter. You always see it on black, but wondered how it would look on a lighter color and I like it.

Definitely post up pics when it's installed.

Thanks, I,m still waiting on the intake tubing and getting the aftercooler modified, but here,s what I have so far. I just got it running, so I,m pretty pumped

I agree, that looks great...Too me its soo much easier to make and old school chevy look good under the hood...Just seems the engine bay is way busier on the ls motors so it takes a ton of stuff to actually make it stand out in a crowd...!!Good work...

Thanks guys, I really was,nt too thrilled when I picked the stuff up from the painters but the more I get it together the better I like it.

I'm usually not a fan of flames, but I do like the "real" flames. Good job, I like it.

I looked great in the first picture and even better when I saw it on the car. How much did that end up costing you? I like how you painted the area around the air-lid too; makes it stand out more and meshes together well.

The guy charged me $400( I know, OUCH) but mostly because he had to smooth out the Fast before he painted it.
