So are y'all now rocking the newer C6 style wheel instead of the factory one? I didn't know that they were selling the control switch for it yet?

Well that's certainly an upgrade!

Not sure how I feel about the red ring on top, IMO it's too European for American Muscle, but still awesome

I'm really curious to see the horn pad
I know Caravaggio and Apsis do some cool stuff with the C7 wheel

For now, it's staying stock, but I need to talk to someone about modding it.

As for the red ring, I wanted to add it to compliment the other red accents in the interior, hence the red stitching on the leather as well.

Well good news, it works in the Vette too... although its significantly more of a pain in the *** than the f body (well not really but mine decided to be a ****.

Here's some more pics of my wheel... Just got it back yesterday, and the car is in storage, so it won't be installed yet. But it feels great.

It's plenty thick, and the feel is amazing. I like the flat bottom and the finger grips they added. The nice thing, is the radio controls will go right back in, and the airbag is still functional.

Very cool. I istalled a 2014-15 ZL1 steering wheel in my98 Z28. I had to cut off the shaft mounting section and open the hole a little to clear the factory 21mm nut and use a grant steering wheel adapter but it worked perefect, centered correctly. Now i just have to get the horn to work, i installed it yesterday so im not done. Looks factory actulally much better look then the original.

Nice work ONYX. I'm really liking the look of the 14-15 z28\zl1 wheel! Are you able to keep an airbag with this setup?

I'm just trying to decide how out of place this may look with my dated LT1 dash.

Thanks! I used the Grant 3196 installation kit. I could use an air bag however what you see on the steering wheel currently is just the cover theirs no air bag. i could purchase one for $250 but i'm good without it i don't street race plus its a weekend car not daily driver. i can tell you this that steering wheel feels good. I need the cage that houses the air bag so i can get the horn to work properly.
