Default Steering Wheel on 1999 SS

There is 1999 SS i am looking at thats for sale and it has the steering wheel with out the volume and radio controls. I was wounder if you are able to change steering wheels from another SS that has the steering wheel controls and put it into this car? Did any 99 SS's come with the steering wheel with the radio controls?

Default controls

[QUOTE=Fiveohh92]There is 1999 SS i am looking at thats for sale and it has the steering wheel with out the volume and radio controls. i have them on my car & hardly ever use them much, i find it easy to lay my right hand on the top of m6 **** & hit what ever buttons i want on the radio.i would not let this stop you from buying that car if you like that car, those controls are more show than go.

Steering wheel radio controls were not an option on '99 SS's.

you can put a 2000+ wheel with SWC's into a 98-99 car, BUT you need the wheel, airbag, and clockspring, and wiring harness for the controls to work.

yes hes right...I did this to my 99 SS. If you are interested, I have a wheel and clock spring to make it work, all you would need is the air bag. Let me know.
