what do you use to keep the t-top and door seals soft and pliable?

1z einszett gummipflege stift, german stuff you can get on Amazon cheap with good reviews.

Believe it or not, I just use silicone spray on a rag. Keeps em soft and pliable AND keeps your doors from freezing shut.

How often do you apply the Vaseline. It seems like it would leave a residue on the windows.

You don't cake it on, just put a dab on a rag and just work it into the seal and keep it so that you don't get anything more than a very thin coat on it.

i think both are effective. anything that keeps your seals from drying and cracking is good.

Exactly what I use. It is imo hands down the best on the market and its water based. Silicone based products dry rubber out and accelerate its aging even though it looks good when its on.

I use a mix of tire shine, synthetic oil and vasoline. It really has kept them in great shape even in the sun.

Oil seems to seep into the seals
The tire shine gets them nice and shiney/black
Vasoline seems to help lock all that in and create a protective barrier.

who knows maybe thats all bs.
