Default Planned on CETA today, it's raining out, spray paint question

I planned on doing the CETA mod to my TA today but it's raining out. I have a garage, so the car will be completely covered. I would spray w/ the door open so I don't pass out from the fumes. Would the humidity ruin the paint finish? I know it will take a longer time to dry which is fine, it's not my DD and I wouldn't take the car out until Saturday the earliest.

Anyone have any experience w/ this?

Thanks

No it wont do anything but affect your drying time.

Ok, so it's done, came out pretty good with one exception. I must have not sanded the small indentation enough in one spot, the paint didn't stick. So I hit it a couple of times w/ the spray can and then I developed a run... Damn it!! To fix this once it's fully dried (I'll wait a week or so anyway) can I just sand down that spot and correct it, or do I need to redo the entire bumper? And when I sand it down, am I going down to the original color or just until it's smooth enough for my liking?

Thanks

Flatten down the spot with the run and scuff the bumper and reshoot it would be the best option imo.

Yes humidity can effect spray can paint, it will draw moisture and can look milky it's called blushing, doesn't happen everytime but it's best to wait till its not raining.

Agreed. Humidity will do funny things to spray paint. I'd wait until it was a low humidity day about 65 or so degrees.

I learned some lessons about painting.... I had some runs and it looks like it either "blushed" or I didn't lay down a heavy enough layer. I'm going at it w/ some sandpaper tomorrow and going to reshoot it. I'll post pics when it's post worthy

Thanks for the help
