Hand Waxed Silverado

Hand Waxed Silverado
I hand waxed my Dad's 2002 Chevy Silverado. He bought it new and only waxed it once. I don't think it has been waxed in 6 or so years. I don't have any before pictures except this one. The left side is waxed and the right side is what I started with. What a difference.... wax used is Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax.

I agree. My WS6 is Pewter, so it really never looks dirty, but at the same time, it never really has that awesome/intense shine like a black or darker vehicle does. You can, however, tell a pretty big difference after a good wash and was though, but nothing like a black or darker colored vehicle looks after it's been washed and waxed.

The problem with pewter, tan, or gold cars is while they don't show the dirt that much it means they are that much filthier when they do finally start showing dirt. My first car was tan and if I waited until it looked dirty you almost needed a brillo pad to get the crud off (no I never used a brillo pad!)
