Saturday Detail Job: 1998 Camaro Z28
Well this was my one weekend off of work, and it wasn't raining for once. It wasn't as warm as I would've liked (high of 41 LOL) but the sun was peeking out, and I knew it was my only weekend to play with the car. I got it out of the garage early and detailed it front to back, and inside and out. I was hoping to put my new drilled and slotted rotors on today too, but ran out of time and decided I'd rather take it for a drive than spend the rest of the evening doing brakes, so pay no attention to the disgusting stock rusted brakes. I used a Mothers wax, back to black on some of the trim. Still have some to finish up. After the first picture, I couldn't take that stock grilled, so I pulled it out so there's no more gay license plate bracket. Going to rock the bare look until my new SLP grille shows up. I also just painted a Berger panel I bought a while back for it. I have a set of stainless steel Camaro inserts and a LS1 emblem, but the paint was only a few hours old at that point and I slapped it in there for pictures, so didn't want to attempt putting them in yet.

New ohio plates come out April 15. A pretty cool red white and blue design.

I heard they were coming out with a new plate. They were going to try to force everyone with the "tan bottomed" plate and the red/white/blue "sunburst" plate to go to a newer plate, probably the gay farm one since this was last year when I read this news. Bullshit I say!! I like my Collectors Plate. Got a link to the new plate design?
