Default Help I'm thinking on doing led swap

I need help and what is the biggest size led light bulb that I can put into a 99 Camaro headlight switch because I brought one from super brights and its very very dim the stock one was brighter I'm trying to make it red

YOu'll need multiple LEDs shing directly out of the indicator. Your best bet is to switch to a Firebird headlight switch since it doesn't have the blue film on the back which blocks a lot of the red from shining through.

You peel your Camaro overlay off of the headlight switch unit and stick the Firebird one on. It the actual overlay you are switching to, not the entire headlight switch

It doesn't work yet I did it to my Camaro.... whatever you say man

I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE ENTIRE HEADLIGHT SWITCH. I AM REFERRING TO THE ACTUAL OVERLAY.

Interesting, I didn't realize they were the same overlay, with different text/"color filters" applied.

So, is the Firebird unit "clear" or red? In other words, does the firebird use a clear or red bulb to illuminate the overlay?

Clear bulb.... it has red film on the backside.. kind of like the blue film the Camaros use.

As you can see there is some trimming involved with putting the Firebird overlay on the Camaro headlight switch, but it does work and fit...

The bezel covers the cut marks, so it sits in there just like the Camaro one..

Sure. Let me just go find the random lady that bought my Camaro back in January. It seriously looks the same as the Camaro one but with the Firebird text and design. Use your imagination.

Multiple LED bulbs aiming right out of the indicator. The twist lock stock-style ones just simply aren't enough to make that thing shine.
