what are the best engine bays using for radiator hose

I am trying to find a dual pass 27.5 x 16 1/4 x 3'' thick radiator which is actually much harder than it sounds, and it look like i will have to go custom.

anyways, i have found the stainless flex line, and thats been about it. otherwise its old nasty looking brown dull rubber hose ****.

ideas are appreciate.

I would prefer some sort of black braided lines I cant really notice. I am not too much of a bling kinda guy but bling is better than blah

What about the black mesh that goes around the hose that simulates the look of some of the AN hoses and use the Gates heat shrink clamps?

Just throwing **** out there and seeing what sticks.

Lol, not sure where you're gettin the "brown dull rubber hose ****" from, but IMO, radiator hoses shouldn't have too much attention drawn to them....especially the stainless flex line. Might as well put chrome wire loom while you're at it

K.I.S.S. method applies here. For me, CLEAN stock hoses (removed stock power steering cooler) and added some plated hoses ends in place of the stock spring clamps.

See? Simple....

great looking engine bay. my hoses are 11 years old, they are kind of a brown color, could have sprayed something one them when the motor blew. Either way, I would like to upgrade the look from rubber to braided black or stainless. AFCO is building me a custom double pass radiator over the next week or so, so the lines wont be too long, and I am getting ready to saw zaw the bottom support and make a bracket.

If you want to get that brownish look off your hoses either use an APC 4:1 or Stoners Tarminator. The latter is really good for taking the same brownish color off tires.

I had the same issue with the browning of the hoses. I ended up taking electrical tape and neatly wrapping the radiator and water pump hoses. Its subtle enough that at times I forget they are even wrapped. IMO it looks good!

Not the best pic, but the only one I have right now.
