Repaint brake calipers
I'm currently in the process of looking for some new wheels for my TA, specifically C6 Z06 wheels. Since they are far more open than my current wheels, and since the current paint is kinda of chipped and faded a bit, I want to repaint my calipers and brackets.
What would be the best way to redo them without totally removing the caliper from the vehicle? I ask because I do not have a scan tool to cycle the ABS controller for a bleed.
Thanks.

ive seen people spray paint them while still attatched to the brake line. Just tape up everything very well, and go to town with newspaper to cover the wheel wells and everything near to be safe.

i was like you and didnt want to mess with taking them off so i taped everything off and painted mine using caliper spray paint and high temp clearcoat. they are already chipped and it hasnt even been a year. when i redo them im going to use the brush on kit and do more coats. i think oreillys is where i got it.

I just finished painting mine also. I left mine on the car, and just masked everything up very carefully. They turned out great. I'll post pics tomorrow when it's done.

Did any of you guys already have your calipers painted? Mine have been done once, I was wondering if I need to strip off all the old paint, or if I could wire wheel it to remove what I can, roughen up the surface, and repaint and re-clear.
