Default TransAm interior re-do pics...

Just some pics on what I've been working on... Ripped out interior for my "cage" install... I modified a Wolfe to my liking... Then sound deadening... Just got seats today... Carpet and headliner are ready to go in also... All black... Car was tan interior that had seen better days... Also all new UMI front suspension from K member to arms... Battery relocated to trunk in sealed box... I will take more pics soon but I have to straighten out garage as I could barely move around to snap phone pics...

Fit great for me but the bars that ran from windshield to main hoop were too close to my head so i eliminated them and ran two bars from hoop to windshield at center of the car. Right under the center roof where T tops attach. I'm not worried about getting the cage certified and it looks pretty cool. I also ran the rear bars to a 2" x 2" sqr tube I ran from above wheel wells. I felt this was much stronger than mounting to flat area above gas tank. I'll snap more pics to show you what I mean.

Looks good man. How tough was it to get the cage welded in?

Hardest part by far is the dash. Reinstalling after the cage was tricky to say the least. After that grinding and welding is just a lot of work. I'm not a pro and my welds are ok but I enjoy doing this stuff as a hobby.
