bringing the Z back to life
UPDATED in post #11. (sorry for the cell phone pics)
It got put away in the garage 3 years ago and hasnt started nor seen daylight. Since i cant get my 408 done in time for OC. i pulled the Z out.
unfortunately i couldnt find any before pics. but just picture a completely stock looking arctic white z, auto with algae growing all over it and the darkest yellow headlights you could imagine.... lol
got her out of the garage and cleaned her up,got all the algae off, got it started and running fine, i had to replace the starter and driver side window motor. immediately began appearence mods. She got the wheels from OEwheelsLLC 3 years ago and has maybe 20 miles on the wheels/tires and then went into the garage. Anyway, did the berger/grill area with plastidip, then sanded and painted the GS stripes, spent an hour wetsanding and buffing the headlights, and then VHT the turn signals and rear side markers. happy with how it looks for now, it will get a sunoco hood and possibly a cam in the future. but for now. its just time to enjoy the ride.
