Default Red or Black brake calipers?

Just recently installed my new wheels and tires, they're the 2002 Camaro SS 35th anniversary edition wheels, with the black inserts. I've been thinking since the car is white, I would make the theme kind of black and white. I have the whilstered headlights, so they're darker, the darker wheels, the rear letter inserts, the T-tops are black, and I plan on making the tint 20% so it will be darker, I was considering black brake calipers to complete this...but I don't see many if any cars with this, most of them seem to be red.

So what do you guys think? Black or red?

Everyone does red...maybe a good reason for it. But I would go black bracket red caliper best of both worlds.

Red calipers hands down .....
Myth buster did a episode of this a few weeks back ..
The conclusion was that the red actually dissipates the heat faster thus increasing stopping distance by almost 7/5ths of a inch over the black calipers.

I always try and "hide" stock brake calipers by painting them black. If they are Brembos... go red.

I'm going to say be different and go with black calipers with white brackets and white "Camaro" decal on the caliper.

Black, or silver would look good with those wheels imo.

Do you have a picture of black brackets with red calipers? I'm curious to see what they'd look like, I kind of like that idea.

The black doesn't really stand out, it's subdued, almost looks stockish, but I like that. I think it would blend better. Red just screams "performance" whether it's a brembo brake set or the stock set.

I think I'm gonna paint mine black, maybe put the white lettering for Camaro on it, haven't decided.

Black would look better with the white/black thing you have going on with your LS1. Red would look terrible IMO
