Default Mad Racing Seats

So my stock seats are pretty worn so I'm looking to replace them. I've read that the mad racing seats usually work and i sat in some at a local meet last week and they were very comfortable. So my plan was to buy the seats from them and then use 6Litereaters way of install here:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...ory-rails.html

Before i pull the trigger, does anyone see any problems with this? It seems pretty simple.
Also can I get the MRC seats anywhere else cheaper than their site?
Lastly what's the difference between MRC seats and eBay seats like this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1x-BLACK-PVC-LEATHER-w-RED-STITCH-TYPE-III-SPEC-RECLINABLE-RACING-SEAT-SLIDER-/390598936704?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1997%7CModel%3ACamaro%7CSubmodel%3AZ28&hash=item5af182c880&vxp=mtr
Thanks guys

I got the 100% real leather style seats as in the write up for $375 shippped yesterday but I won't have them installed untill some time this week, but I got to say they are very nice seats for sure. I'm not sure about the ones in your link though they seem like lesser quality seats to me.

Dont even waste your time with the PCV leather seats. I put some that my friend was selling in my ss due to my stocks getting worn out and we had to make sliders which wasnt to bad. But I pulled them out and sold them within two weeks of putting them in and put the stocks back in. It was literally like sitting in a rubber glove and just overall didnt feel comfortable to drive in. I have however sat in the 6LE real leather seats and they are so much more comfortable and look much better compared to the pcv leather. Honestly for the price of the MRC seats you cant beat it, im going to be ordering a set from 6LE with the sliders soon.

You mind pm'ing me where you got them. I haven't found them that cheap. I figured the eBay ones were junk but I thought I'd double check. Also, if I follow that write up by 6LE, will I have height problems? It didn't seem like he did but I just want to know what I'm getting into.

What about these as opposed to the ebay ones? Ive read that yonaka seats are basically identical to the mad racing ones. Can anyone confirm the quality of these yonaka ones? They should be fine being installed with the write up, correct?

For the price of Yonka's depending on what you get you can get into Corbeaus for a 1 or 2 hundred more a seat. I'd rather spring for the couple hundred more and know for a fact that this is a solid purchase. Just me though. However, with that said I looked into the Yonka's and saw people were happy with their seats.

Looks like it has a **** to adjust it. My seats look identical to them but has a handle instead for adjusting. If its free shipping you save a few bucks from what I paid, everyone likes to save money. lol

I wish I did but my friend who does custom fab work installed them for me, he told me he didn't use 6liter's write up to install mine to the factory rails but I'm assume the write up will be all the help you need to install yours.

^^Missed the boat by over a year. Yonaka, Mad Racing and our selves stopped carrying them over a year ago. No one makes a quality CHEAP seat anymore. It's Recaro or Ebay junk (which as said above feels like you're sitting in a rubber glove, absolutely horrible)...

Recaro seats from an Evo 8 can be found cheap or if you can find a deal, s2000 seats. You do have to modify way the new seats mount to the stock fcar tracks. A couple people on this site have done that and it works out great and both are supurb OEM quality seats light years better than the stockers.
