Default Retro Style Trans AM Tail lights DONE

I finally got a set of tail lights that weren't all busted up and was able to make a set of the Retro style tail lights that the photo shop had been done of.

These:

Here's what I ended up with. I love how they turned out. However my car is apart getting an overhaul so I was unable to light them up.

Started with this

What do you guys think?

Sharp, does the light bleed through the paint when you hit the brakes?

I have the whole front end of the car apart so I haven't lit them yet. I doubt it will.

not gonna lie, I will probably be copying you on this one... that looks effing great! it looks glossy when you have them laying on the ground, but more of a satin/matte finish in the final pics? did you redo it. I actually LOVE the satin finish, and think I'm gonna have to pick up another set of lights to try this out!

excellent work!

Thanks been wanting to do this for awhile. I actually did it with plasti dip because I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out. They were still drying when they were somewhat glossy. I really like the satin too so I am probably just going to leave it. It matches my CETA panel then too.

Nice job. I'm surprised not many people have tried this sooner
