Default high beam switch broken

not REALLY sure where to post this, and i know this is generally a motor related website, but... maybe someone knows.

I have a 99 camaro SS, the high beam switch doesn't click anymore, and even if you hold it back, the brights don't come on....

obviously the switch in the column is broken, but i'm not sure which part i need to buy, and can't take the liberty of disassembling the column just to figure it out and be out of a car while waiting on the part.

so..... here's what i've found. any ideas???

Its a real pita to replace that switch, you have to almost entirely disassemble the steering column to replace the high low switch. Look at how many miles you have my column starting having more problems, and I ended up replacing my steering column.

If its the switch its at the bottom of the column. You shouldn't have to take the whole thing apart to get to it.

Default I had the same problem try this

Ok I had the same problem just one day out of the blue, and I didnt know where to start, then a few days later my blinkers quit working so I replaced the flasher about $8 and bam the hi beams switch worked again as well as the blinkers.
I dont know how or why but they must be all connected unless your switch feels completely broken or loose try this maybe
Just a suggestion to try its very simple before you tear it all down. Lmk if what you think
