Default Instrument Cluster Cleaning

What do you guys use to clean the clear plastic in front of the speedometer cluster. I cleaned it once before I think with windex and ended up scratching it.

I can help you out here. Novus 3 plastic polish makes it look perfect. No glare, it takes out scratches. It makes the panel look "invisible" I can't help you on where to find it though, I got my bottle from Autozone. It's a white bottle with a light blue stripe and lettering on it. I would try boat places or 4x4 Jeep websites b/c of the plastic windows on those vehicles.

Oh, and it works best when applied with a microfiber cloth

Thanks Tony. Actually I got a new plastic face from the dealer so it doesn't have any scratches in it now. I just want to prevent it from happening again while being able to clean it. Still use the same stuff for cleaning as well?
Thanks

Yes, It works wonders for that. But they have a special cleaner just for that too Novus in the blue bottle with the white stripe. We used this alot on my buddies Jeep. I'll give him a ring on the 2-way (Nextel) and see if he knows where to get some.

Sorry Chris,
My buddy was no help. Pep Boys or Quadratec (Jeep parts catalog) Oh and it's not in the bottles that I described to you. Novus updated their look. Clean and shine is in a small white bottle with a mostly blue label. The word NOVUS runs vertical up the left side of the lable. The fine scratch remover (polish) is similar with a red lable. I found my Quadratec 2004 catalog in my room.
This stuff used to be available everywhere around me, (Philadelphia PA) so maybe it's as close as your local autoparts store near you. I'm telling you, I used this stuff for years on my gauge cluster and it looks great! Almost invisible.
