Default Anyone using the ebay carbon fiber valve covers

Well I just bought a set when I saw this, so I guess I'll be the guinea pig. When I saw that he had the same ones listed for triple the price, I figured I'd order them before he upped the price on all the auctions. As far as I can tell, they are all identical except for the ones without the oil fill cap and/or breather bung. If they fit well and everything, I'll probably by another couple sets as long as the price doesn't go up before then.

You may want to cancel that order. The ad he posted was an ad listing the coil brackets for the covers, not the covers.

Get the ones made by Katech. These use a single layer of weave, and you can see though the weave. Also the resin is not layed well. Most of the problems won't show on camera, but you can tell why the price is so low. I know the others are expensive, but you get what you pay for.

No prob.

Looks like this is the company making them. Which looks pretty legit.

Their ad is not very clear. They show valve covers in all the pictures but the description says coil brackets.

The valve covers they sell for $529.99 do not include coil brackets but the pictures of the covers has the the coil brackets.

I am sure many people have bought these brackets thinking they were buying valve covers.

The title of the ad says it perfectly.
