Default Removing headliner without Damaging

I found a parts car with an excellent headliner, mine is trashed. I decided to take mine out as a test and got it out but I see no easy way to get the push clips out without damaging them and potentially the headliner.

Is there a way to get those clips out without damaging them? If not how do you guys do it and can you still buy the clips from GM? I think this and the upper dash and my interior is set!

Thanks!!

a Panel puller tool is how you get the clips out without messing them up, the trick is supporting the panel so it doesn't kink from it's own weight and remember that clip hidden behind the hatch light, I forgot that one the last time and tore up that section of the liner.

THat makes sense, so like an old school panel remover tool? I'll have to see if I still have one from doing my 73 interior. I have a plan to get it out with help that I think will work really well the clips were my big worry.
