The 4th gen T/A Avantis have been around for awhile (although I've never seen one in person thank God). The Hummer-like thing caused them to get sued by GM. I don't remember what happened with that.

I've seen them up close at the Chicago auto show. The fit and finish is absolutely horrendous not to mention an extremely ugly design. Overpriced junk, IMO.

It really is one of the shittiest looking cars I've ever seen in my life. Why pay 70k for a car with an interior out of a 25 thousand dollar GM car. The interior in my TA isn't too bad, I can live with it. But obviously GM is notorious for horrible fit and finish. For 70k I'd expect BMW quality work.
