I'm looking for a 98-02 Manual upper console for my z28(ls1 interior), but I can't find any T56 upper consoles in dark gray.

However, I have found a couple V6 T5 consoles in The correct color.

My question is: Is there any real difference between the two?

Will the t56 shift boot and trim piece work with the T5 upper console?

I've tried both, and both are ebony. I have somebody that offered me a great price for an ebony console, and I'm starting to think that it wouldn't really look bad anyway.

T5 is exactly the same, except for the little shift pattern overlay.
