Default Brake dust problem....

O.K., I 'm sure that someone out there's got a solution for this, the stock WS-6 rim's on my car have got some brake dust that seems imbedded into the rim, I have tried about every wheel cleaner that's supposed to be clearcoat safe, and nothing is taking this crap off. I was thinking a power washer or something, but will that blow the clearcoat off the outer part of the rim? Any advise would be appreciated.

You could try a clay bar or 000 or 0000 steel wool. Do a search for brake dust here or at www.autopia.org.
