1- how much did u pay to have it painted?
2-did u install urself or have body shop when they paint it?
3- anything u 'wud do diffrent if u had it to do over again'?

i paid 125 to get my hood painted aw,we have a good cheap guy in town, ive seen guys pay 5x that amount, really depends on color n if you want it blended etc,you can install it with a buddy, just look for tips online, just know a fiberglass hood is never going to be 100% as good as a factory oem hood as far as fit goes but the vfn hoods fit very well, there is a thread awhile back that went over all this, maybe it would give ya a better idea

I paid 400 to get my fiberglass ws6 repainted, but it had a chip that needed to get filled, and it had spider cracking that they had to sand all the way down. So it shouldn't be more expensive than that. It really depends if you get the cheap guy that comes to your has and do it or a expensive body shop like I did.

they are pretty easy to put on the car, when i got my hood from VFN it took me and a buddy about 30min from the time we ripped open the box till we closed the hood the last time and washed it. it lined up damn near perfect the first time we put it on. the quality on their stuff is very good. i had mine wrapped because i want the whole car painted a different color and didn't want to have to paint the hood twice so i can't say much about paint costs.

i paid $300 to have mine painted, which is a pretty good deal for all the work he did to it. You could probably just have it painted as is out of the box for less money. but if you dont want it to be all wavy and uneven, it will need hours of block sanding, which is what mine got. it came out perfect. couldnt be happier.
