Default Aftermarker SS spoiler?

Does anyone have any comments on this spoiler regarding fit & finish? Good or bad??

Its the one listed under "2000 Camaro SS Spoiler" on Ebay. I removed the link.

Craig

The one I bought fit decent but needed a bit of repair before putting it on. For the price tho I'd say its worth it

remove the link or your thread is going to get removed

the company has gotten great reviews in the past. there was a really long thread with plenty of pics and all, but I think it was deleted, at least I couldn't fid it when I just searched... probably since they are not a sponsor, and you're not supposed to post live ebay links

Gotcha. You would think being around here for 10 years I would know that.

Just save up the money and go OE. You won't regret it. No aftermarket will ever have the same quality and/or fit of a GM one.

Do you have one or know where one is? I did a search and the above spoiler is what came up.

OE= original equipment, an actual GM spoiler. he's saying to try and find one from an actual SS that someone is selling. You can usually find someone who is parting out their car and selling one, though it can be hard at times to find one locally, or one that someone is wiling to ship. But yes, as far as fitment goes that'll usually be the best bet.. even better if you can find one that is already painted the same color as your car.

I know OE, I was asking if he had one for sale or knew of one for sale.

The OEs are definitely hard to find thats why I asked about the aftermarket ones listed on Ebay. Ill probably get one off Ebay as my Camaro is not a show car. That will also leave one more OE spoiler for someone that has a show/low mileage Camaro.

Thanks again for the responses. Ill be sure to post up when I receive the spoiler.

lol my bad. for the price, and with the reviews that people have given it, it seems worth a shot. I'd probably give myself like a week or two of trying to find an OE one before pulling the trigger though.

Now you know as soon as I get the aftermarket one installed, an OE will show up!

i was gonna go aftermarket but found my OEM one for cheap enough to make it worth it. I got it for $220 shipped. It was originally silver, then was painted black and will now be done in SOM. I already stripped it down, sealed it and wetsanded. Turned out damn good for the start. I have to get it shot yet but that will have to wait til i get back home from Atlanta. If i were you i'd go aftermarket unless you are really picky about fitment and how it looks.
