Default 6LE 93-97 Front Bumper and Ultra Z hood pics :) *INSTALLED*

Just thought I would share some pics with everyone who is curious as to what they look like on lt1 cars (together). I already had the Ultra Z hood but I just picked up a 6LE bumper for cheap not too long ago! The bumpers clear coat is still drying and hardening so hopefully I'll have it installed this weekend.

Here's what it looked like before (ugly nose mustache from the car having stripes):

Bumper:

Doing some test fitting (not secured to the car in this pic):

Painted and looking good

Hopefully I can install it this weekend, the weather has been cooler out so the clear is taking awhile to set.

If this were available before I did my ls1 front clip swap I may have considered it highly. I just wish the lt1 headlights weren't such ****.

yeah the 93-97 bumper came out great. the 98+ one unfortunately only went well with the complete kit McNord built. But this one looks great with the rest of the car left as is.

LT1 front end FTW... 6LE bumper + Harwood + SLP grill + BLS kit... All black...

I wish the BLS kit wasnt so expensive I would definitely want it just because how bad lt1 head lights are. I think this bumper will definitely bring the look together, especially since this is her rear

Wow that bumper is going to look sick! I would love to have mine look like yours, very jealous. if you're worried about your headlights, I did an HID conversion in the stock housings. I love it! Shines just like my dads new corvette. They are bright and light up the ground in front of me very well without blinding others.

Not possible. HID in shock housings WILL cause glare (especially when shoved in those sealed beam conversion housings) and can't compare to an HID projector.

no there not as good as projector's, but make a huge difference. and if you aim them down you wont blind anyone, I've been using them for years in my eurolight housing.

Well I got it installed today! Here are the only two pics I could get, I'll definitely grab some more when I take it out this weekend. Responding to an above post, I already did the HID retrofit the output is ok but projectors would be best. (Yes I know my hood sticks up a little, I swapped to a LS1 SLP lid setup and it rubs a little bit with a stock ls1 lower box, once I get my hands on a t/a ram air one it will fit better)

Looks amazing! I understand wanting to have projectors, I just didn't like the circular lens they had, so I put HID's in the stock ones. Car looks great again!

The ram air boxes are taller.

How does it fit? Are you doing the install or having the body shop do it? Still have yet to put mine on and just wondering since so few pics are ever posted for the guys that had it done.

The part that rubs the hood is the plastic between the core support mounting and the rad support. Since the ram air lower box is taller it gives that area a sharper angle which would clear my hood (im pretty sure)

The fit is okay, I did the install myself. Mine is the from the first batch of bumpers so it wasnt perfect, but for the price I got it for it fits just fine
