Default Lost it tonight

Yep, I lost the bowtie on my grille tonight. Anyone know where I can get another one other than Year One. A friend gave me this one, so.....

Here's a few of the better pics of it:

I'm guessing that's the one on the front of the LT1's? Am I right. Same size as I described.

Yes! GMpartsdirect.com is much cheaper! They are actually a GM parts distribution center... Also much less than the dealer.

GMPartsdirect.com is actually a dealer. They are the Flow Automotive Group, Flow Chevrolet, out of Winston-Salem, NC.

They charge a buttload for shipping.

Personally, I'd go with YearOne or another like company. A company that is reputable and good service (you cannot call GMPartsdirect.com, and shipping is outrageous), and supports not only the F-Body community, but other muscle car niches and collectibles.

Y dont you get the part # from the dealer and look it up on GMpartsdirect.com. I'll guarantee you that GMpartsdirect.com is Way cheaper with shipping included... on the part I bought from them I saved $50 shipped. and then on the door emblems i saved close to $25 shipped.. Good company to do business with IMO.

If that is the same emblem that came on the front of the LT1 cars, you should be able to get it from any Chevy dealer. I had to replace the bowtie on the front of my car, so I just called up a friend that works at a local Chevy dealer and he hooked me up with the emblem for about $7.

A friend of mine with an LT1 told me they are molded into the front clip. I thought they were just glued on or something, so I doubted him.

Nope it's a totally separate emblem. All you do is peel the covering off the back and stick it on.
