Default Wanting ideas for better seats

Looking for better seats so the old lady will go in my
car. The factory ones are like a sling chair, no support
and no passenger-side adjustability. Tried T/A seats
and the bottom support was even worse (probably
just a fatter previous owner).

I want

1) black leather
2) full power adjust incl lumbar on passenger's side
3) not so fat they can't fit in a Camaro (4th gen)
4) not too deep a butt-well relative to front bolster,
sorta flat with good seat firmness

And not looking real stupid would be nice (like, no
contrast-color logo etc to make it look wrong). No
big seatbelt pods to mess up the top-down looks.

GM source not really necessary, but a mild bonus.

Any suggestions, experience / pics better yet?

Could go with a high quality racing seat, only mention because I think seat swapping options into 4th gens is pretty limited. YearOne has replacement seat foam & Lumbar kits. They also have a selection of seat covers as well.

Default corbeau seats that look almost factory.

I 've been down the road of summit racing seats in my vert and went back to stock.

two seats imo that give the look of a factory seat but much better quality are. Sport Seat and Moab

Go to the bone yard and shop around. Look for luxury cars like Cadillac, Lincoln, etc. For sport seats look at something like a Corvette or Audi. Avoid Mustang - their leather seats are not very comfortable.

Your other option is take your seat to a good upholstery shop. They can add any kind of seat foam you want, and then cover them they way you like them. You can even have heaters installed. Not a cheap proposition, though.

I've been very happy with my Recaro Topline seats for almost decade now.

I just had them custom reupholstered recently.

WOW $3500 for those Recaro Toplines. I have been looking at the new Corbeau Sportline RRS. they just done have black leather though. and I imagine buying the leather and having it upholstered would be expensive.

There is a writeup about someone putting 04-06 gto seats in their f body. They are really comfortable seats, alittle heavy, and will limit your back seat space, but they could definitely fit the bill. See them on ebay for good prices usually.

^^I was about to mention GTO seats...

I've gone across country (a few times) in our seats and while there is no lumbar/etc... adjust ability I had NO issues (cramps, back problems, etc...) like with the stock seats...
