Default Dash pad new look

These are photos of a salvage yard dash pad which we got out with one crack. Previously we had tried vinyl covering on our old dash pad and after several years it would peel or come up. This dash has been flocked along with the a pillars. We repaired the crack and reinforced the underside with aircraft fabric and expoxy. The pictures overly emphisise the color difference between the pad and the rest of the dash due to light reflection. Flocked material looks and feels like microsuade.

Nice. Now, if you cover the whole dash in that stuff, it'd look really killer.

I would cover the gadge shroud if I knew how to get it out off the car. Currently I am not sure as to how to go about doing this.

That looks really nice. Actually that's a big appearance upgrade over stock plastic look IMO.

Thanks. One benefit is that there is little to no glare from the material.

Did you roll it on or spray it on?

Looks good, but is this a right hand drive? I noticed its a 93-96 dash but the ac controls are on the left.

The flock is sprayed on. I will try to get better photos when I have a chance. Really seems to be a good solution.

To each their own, but I think it just makes the interior look even more cheap.
That material makes me think of those Chinese-made bobble-head dog figures you find at the Flea Market:
