Default Placement of Letters

I recently had my '02 WS6 repainted, and they took off they trans am lettering on the sides. I had already removed the side molding. My question, what is the precise location to re-apply these letters? Also, what should I use to put them back on so they don't fall off?

you could always get another set off of eBay, they already have the 3m double-sided tape attached, they have several colors to choose from in factory emblems and they also have overlays(actual emblems not decals), I got a set of stainless steel(looks like chrome) overlays for mine. As far as the placement, I believe it started roughly 1" down from the side molding and 2" from the front edge of the door, then again you can always do a custom placement anywhere on the lower half of the door. I seen one above the door molding, kinda looked out of place.

+1 double side 3m tape. As for positioning I would use some masking tape to make a straight line either above or below where you're going to put the emblems use a level on the tape line to make sure it's perfectly straight and square and measure and mark on the tape how far away from the door seam you want the emblem to rest then apply the emblem accordingly. Obviously you could just slap it on and get it close by just guessing, but I like a more precise method to make both sides exactly the same and perfectly straight and square.

I used 3M tape to put my ws6 badge back on and that was 6 years ago still on my car ran it threw hundreds of car washes and it survived plenty of rain storms. 3M tape is the only thing i would recommend for you.
