I hate living in inept areas... MODERATORS - Please move this to Wheel/Tire, I posted in the wrong section, thanks.
When it comes to the most basic car things, like removing tires, my area is totally inept at doing so.
I had my brother take my Racing Hart M5 3-Piece wheels to have the tires removed so I can send them off and have them refinished and the centers polished to match the lip. Well, they remove the wheels and break off one of my valve stems. How hard is it to do something as simple as breaking down and removing a tire? So, I ordered a new one from Racing Hart, $20 for a valve stem.
So now after I get my rims back from being refinished I'll have to drive 2+ hours to Columbus, OH to Discount Tire there and have them put new tires on since I can obviously trust NO ONE around this area for the most basic service. It's unreal the incompetence in every field out there. Basic things seem to cause the most distress in performing any service anymore.
