I've used just about every brand they have. Now I just get whichever is on sale.

Even the Rain X with wax beads made no improvement. Usually Turtle Wax brand is the cheapest.

If I am planning to wax after, I use Mr Pink from Chemical Guys or dishsoap in a pinch

I've been using Meguiar's Ultimate the past couple of years. It's alright, but I think I'm going to go back to their Deep Crystal as I prefer the extra sudsing.

Meguiars Gold Class is what I use on our cars at home. Use two buckets; one for soap, one to rinse the mit out after each pass. It's time consuming, but definitely worth the extra effort.

IF you're gonna use soap from those places Meg's Gold would be the best choice. Two bucket is definitely needed to help prevent swirls as well as using a foamgun prior to washing the car with a mitt.

I use Mothers California Gold Carnauba Wash & Wax with a FoamMaster foam gun, and Mothers California Gold Spray Wax during the drying process.

I can always find Mothers products at parts stores like AutoZone... but I usually order online

I really like Turtle Wax Ice carwash, and I've been using it for years on my red Camaro and my wife's Black Ford Escape. Recently it was marked down by about $2.00 to approximately $6.50 at Walmart stores in my area.

Check this guy out on Youtube, he has pretty much all the products out there you could pick up at a local store.

After washing and rinsing the car, while it is still wet, spray the Spray Wax on an area or small panel, then use your towel (I use a folded waffle weave microfiber) and spread the wax as you dry. You're simultaneously drying the car and apply the spray wax. You'll want to thoroughly dry as you apply.

I'm not a OCD detailer, so I've not heard of this. I'm all for anything to make the process more efficient, though!

I'm going to give this a try when I wash the car tomorrow. I usually dry with a water blade and touch up with an Absorber. I then use the spray wax between normal waxing.
