So I'm on this whole "make stuff that lights up" kick. Did the Trans Am rear filler panel. Any other parts or logos you'd like to see lit up?

In the mirror itself, or on the housing somewhere?

mirror itself, ive seen it done a few times but never offered up, considered doing it on mine by just backlight the inside of the housing with a red led if it was bright enough that would light up the gap. of course if there was a kit i would be more than onboard

I thought about backlighting mine, but figured I'd just end up breaking it. The mirror itself is kinda small for an arrow or design, maybe just a strip down the outter edge?

interesting.... I didn't realize the light would shine through the mirror like that. I may have to try something like that. Would take a lot of wire though lol.

well i think there was some cutting involved, in the thread i started there was a response about taking a carbide bit to the mirror surface in the desired pattern to allow the light to shine through

That would be pretty sweet, but how many people wanna drill holes in their doors? lol, cut up a glowstick and wipe it on the letters.

On the outside like that is a little too rice a roni for me, I don't think I could make that look right. I'm liking the screamin chicken in the mirror glass. I think I could pull that off.
