Default C7 z06 fender flare on 98 camaro

I'm not sure if I want to do this or not but I kinda test fit one today to see what it looks like. I had to cut a lot of it just to get it to fit like it is. It still needs more work to fit all the way.
What do you think?

so it took me noticing the two things at the back of the fender (latch/pin?) to start looking beyond the flares and at the rest of the car. wow! so whats the deal with this build? looks interesting

Cool and innovative don't get me wrong, but it looks way out of place on the 4th Gen for my taste.

I think I'd have to see it in a finished car, but my initial reaction is it comes off kind of cheap
