Default Anyone put buffing pads on an angle grinder?

I have an angle grinder that is adjustable speed. I've thought about removing the guard on it and using a medium speed to buff the fenders/hood of my car. Anyone done something like this?

Don't be a ginny pig and try it, you could very likely end up screwing up your cars paint . For the money you can't go wrong with a Porter Cable 7424, your cars not a peice of so get it what it deserves. http://www.coastaltool.com/cgi-bin/S...41d+1079089426

Do NOT use a regular angle grinder. You will cause swirls with it's regular circular motion.

Yep, it needs to be a RANDOM OBITAL grinder or sander.. a regular circular grinder will just become swirl city and could burn through your paint if done wrong..

the Porter Cable unit is only about $100 and works great..
